My Bio
I work primarily in traditional mediums using Celtic and Medieval themes. My recent work is inspired by Medieval illuminated manuscripts, Japanese woodblock prints, Art Nouveau, and Native American art.
I recently stumbled upon pyrography and realized that it was a perfect match to my designs. I love the character and earthy feel that the wood adds to my work. The fact that my finished pieces can be used either as decorative art or as functional items also appeals to me.

You may have noticed that I have been less than active lately. I have had some changes in my personal life recently. The biggest one is the birth of my second child. It is going to take some time adjusting to our wonderful new family addition, so things will continue to be slow for a while. I still have mt Art Fire store open and I am working on a collaboration with a local wood turner.

This is a slow and quiet year for me. I'm scaling back on shows and taking some time to evaluate where I am with my work. A Big Thank You and News

Hi all! Thank you so much for all of the new favorites, watches, and comments. I am very pleased that you all like my new Celtic tree bowl in particular. It was a labor of love.
With the coming holidays, I am keeping very busy. I do not have any more craft shows this season, but I have several commissions to keep me busy. I will also be continuing my alphabet this winter. Be sure to check back for pictures of more letters.
